..a lifelong educator, faith leader, and author devoted to helping others grow in prayer by connecting personal experiences to the Bible.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

— Luke 6:31

Marcia Kline-Libertz is a dedicated member of the Presbyterian Church (USA), actively serving through the National Capital Presbytery and the Synod of the Mid-Atlantic. Over the course of several decades, she has held various leadership roles, including that of Elder and Moderator, guiding both small and large gatherings with a deep commitment to faith, justice, and service.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Education from George Mason University, after transferring from Bluefield University. She later completed her Master’s degree at Virginia Tech, with a focus on Administration Leadership and Curriculum Design. Her career as an educator in the public-school system was marked by a heartfelt mission to support middle and high school students, especially those who, like herself, endured challenging childhoods and needed a trusted ally.

Marcia’s life and work are grounded in her unwavering Christian faith. As a survivor of physical and emotional childhood abuse, she has drawn strength from her spiritual walk, using her experiences to connect with and uplift others. She is also a passionate supporter of social causes, including her advocacy for Reset 180, an organization committed to ending human trafficking.

Her deep spiritual reflections and years of writing personal prayers eventually led her to compile those expressions of faith into a cohesive work—an extension of her lifelong desire to help others grow in prayer, connect with scripture, and experience God’s grace in everyday life.
